Jim has been practicing his art form for
about 12 years and has recently taken it up a notch by creating
functional art such as Interior & Exterior Doors, Cabinet Doors, and
many other off-the-wall pieces.
Jim creates all his own patterns for his art pieces. He uses ONLY Western Red Cedar exclusively for the artwork, as all the colors you need are in the cedar. No stain is used, so the challenge is in the choice of colors available. Knots are used for eyes in all subjects, be it human, animal, fish or birds. |
